Robyn's Tekla festival for girls is back for second year — here's why

For the second year in a row, girls between 11 and 18 years will get a chance to spend a full day discovering and experimenting with different kinds of technology at Tekla Festival, which will be held April 9 at Stockholm's KTH Royal Institute of Technology, in collaboration with singer-songwriter Robyn.

The free Tekla Festival was first organized by Robyn in collaboration with KTH in 2015 so that girls could experience first-hand the ways they can use technology, and be introduced to female role models in a variety of fields. Footage from Tekla festival 2015 by Moemoe production
